We have a premier Maine black bear hunting package. This guided package gives you six days to hunt with seven nights of lodging and all your meals are prepared and served here. Whitetail Deer hunters come here for the elusive, big body bucks. This is a mountainous region, there are no fields or feed plots. It is an exciting hunt. We offer fully guided and assisted hunts. With the same detail to your comfort as our black bear hunts.
This is a very successful area for Ruffed Grouse hunters. There are hundreds of miles of old logging and twitch roads, from gentle rolling to more mountainous. Hunt the way you like. Choose from 4 nights stay and 3 days of hunting or 7 nights and 6 days. Dogs are welcome, but not necessary to hunt grouse here.
Snowmobilers and ATVers access the many miles of trails right from your cabin door.
Hikers are only short drive to many hiking trails for all abilities. Enjoy beautiful vistas, waterfalls and wildlife.

Cedar Ridge Outfitters is located on the outskirts of Jackman and just 15 miles from the border of Quebec. A 4 hour drive from Kittery (Kittery sits on the border of Maine & NH, off route 95).
Take exit 133 off 95 just after last Waterville exit. (Waterville is approx. 2 1/2 hrs from Kittery) Then Take 201 north to Jackman / Mooseriver Region (approx 1 1/2 hour from this exit to Jackman) You will see a big Mooseriver sign entering town. You will pass Mountainview Timeshares and Jackman Trading Post on the right. At the bottom of the hill, turn left onto Attean Road. Go 1/2 mile, Cedar Ridge Outfitters is on the left.
Please take note when driving up 201. Watch carefully for moose. They can weigh as much as 1,500 hundred pounds, that's like hitting a brick wall. Their hair is dark brown/black and is very hard to see in the dark.
