When Hal and Deb Blood purchased 25 acres of land just outside the center of Jackman, Maine they had always wanted to make Cedar Ridge a year round hunting, fishing, recreational & vacation sporting resort. Hal and Deb have well exceeded their original expectations in the many years since they began this adventure. With a tremendous amount of hard work, persistence and tenacity, they have made Cedar Ridge the thriving four-season business it is today.

This area has some of the most challenging and scenic trails in Maine. Hundreds of well maintained trails, leading all over the state. No need to trailer your ATV to a trail, you can leave right from our cabins. For State laws and regulations go to www.mefishwildlife.com. You can register your ATV online with them or wait and register in town at a local store. You can now rent ATV's in Jackman, click here and rent an ATV of your choice for great trail riding adventures. We also offer guided rides for up to four people. the season typically runes from May 15th and closes late in the fall. Learn more

"I have successfully hunted bear and moose with Hal and Debbie Blood and have booked a 4th trip to hunt with Hal 1 on 1 for deer this year. Hal and Debbie are "old souls." They are honest, trustworthy people that welcome you into their home and treat you like family. The cabins are well maintained, the main house is an awesome cabin with some great trophy mounts. Debbie is a great cook. They have a regular menu and provide you with more food that you can hope to eat. In fact, don't be surprised if you gain some weight on this trip. Hal's guides are great.
